So, there were a number of retro games I missed out on even when I had my Genesis. One of those was #PhantasyStar. I keep hearing good things about this series, mainly PSO. To be honest, the only Phantasy Star I've played was the original Phantasy Star Online for the #Dreamcast. Also what about #ShiningForce and #Warsong? I know Warsong is part of some other series... any other awesome Genesis/Master System RPGs I'm missing out on?
@fuuko Phantasy Star II - 4 are fantastic. They even rereleased the original Master System version for the Megadrive in Japan.
Super Hydlide is an exercise in masochism. Crusader of Centy is cool for a Zelda-like game. Landstalker and Light Crusader are more action-rpgs that are decent.
Sorcerian and the Dragon Slayer games are good if you can read Japanese, as is Langrisser II.
