Currently using 19.10 and 6.6, as well as the newest release on a pi 4. My thoughts on these systems follows:

xubuntu is a good release, it’s very stable on my hp laptop. I decided to use ZFS on root, and it runs surprisingly well with my low ram amount. Highly recommended!

OpenBSD is amazing, it boots up quick and everything is easy to configure. I haven’t had any issues or performance problems. Also recommended!

I prefer GhostBSD on the BSD side of things because it strikes a nice balance of user friendliness with having Mate preinstalled.
