I’m using thinkpad x260 trackpad and with every possible setting it exhibits an issue when the cursor is moved, then held for a second, then moved again in the opposite direction, the second movement will begin with a jump of 5-10 pixels. I’ve tried libinput, mtrack, wayland. It shows up on linux, openbsd and freebsd. I would believe it’s a hardware issue, but it’s perfectly smooth on 9front. I’m stumped.
In all seriousness, the Wyse 5060 works as expected as 9front CPU server. The performance is actually better than expected, at ~80% of single core performance of my i5 thinkpad x260. Pretty good deal for less than 40 EUR a piece.
Distributing computation with #9front, mq(4) and primes(1). I wonder if I can get every computer in the house to boot as diskless cpu and calculate prime numbers.
The #9front rio right click menu shows labels of windows that have been explicitly hidden to bring them back up. But how awesome is that it also shows labels for windows that are not hidden, but simply obscured by other windows at the moment.
What a good design.
