does anyone know where i might be able to find schematics for the hardware circuitry that LISP Machines were built out of, in the 80s?

i know i can find the electronics schematics for the PDP-11 and PDP-8 on bitsavers, but i can't seem to find much about the 3600 Symbolics Machines, for instance...

thanks in advance!

I had a dream where someone came up with a new data structure called "superdimensional array" and I was upset because somehow I just couldn't figure out how it worked.

A kōan is a very short story intended to provoke thought and contemplation for students of Zen Buddhism.
A hacker koan is an appropriation of this idea into hacker folklore, using the medium to express computing wisdom.
It might be better if you read actual Zen kōan first but here are a few classics:

I read out a hacker koan to my little brother and he said "that sounds like something a boomer nerd would come up with." 😹

Sigh, this is addictive.

For comparison purposes, I’ve installed an ENiGMA½ BBS at telnet://bbs.freeradical.zone:8888/ . It’s... kinda gorgeous, and I may love it. See what you think.

To recap, we currently have:

- Citadel at bbs.honeypot.net/
- WWIV at telnet://bbs.honeypot.net:2323/
- ENiGMA½ at telnet://bbs.honeypot.net:8888/

At least 2 of these 3 will go away soon(ish). If anyone actually wants to keep a third around, we might be able to do that.
