@publius It came with one cartridge of plain old Pilot Namiki Black. There's a converter, too.

@ephzero
I've had two very nice metal-bodied Platinums which have failed by cracking of the plastic sections. Although I acknowledge that I'm hard on my things (I started using fountain pens in the first place partly to cure myself of a heavy hand), this seems like excessive brittleness. I have heard that Pilots are sturdier in that respect.

@publius I tend to have a death grip on the pens, but it's much easier to relax with this one!

@ephzero
I have a Waterman Phileas (in a kind of malachite-pattern plastic) which is very nice to hold, & an easy writer, but the inner cap has cracked, so it doesn't click down properly, & dries out in a trice. It seems very difficult to get the correct part.

@ephzero is the Elabo the same as the Falcon, but rebranded?

@mrb That's what I've heard, although I've seen a small amount of conflicting information. I'm not sure why Jet Pens was selling both, but I semi-randomly decided to get this one.
