I 100% acknowledge that my previous statement was a use of my privilege as a straight, white male from the US. I have about as much privilege as anyone can have in this day and age. What's important is how I choose to use that privilege. I'm not the target of bigotry and hate. This is exactly why I must stand up for those without so much. If I do not how can I expect those who face persecution to do so? We stand stronger when united together against hate than we do divided.
