@dbucklin nice!!

but I raise you with this!!! 😝

(I actually had to learn how to use this in high school alongside learning how to use scientific calculators... i still don't know to this day why we did LOL)

@snowdusk_ Your teacher was just preparing you for the inevitable techno-apocalypse. πŸ’»πŸ’₯πŸ‘¨πŸΌβ€πŸŒΎπŸ‘©β€πŸ”§πŸ‘

@dbucklin Actually now that you mentioned that i do remember my teacher mentioning that but he did not mention anything about the apocalypse LOL he told us to be prepared if there were no sci calculators available πŸ’¦ Also I remember using this book but I no longer remember if this has anything to do with the slide rule. I know it's for looking up logs and exponents and stuff LOL πŸ˜‚πŸ’¦ have you ever used it before??

@snowdusk_ I know the US military used a lot of precalculated lookup tables, but I've never used something like that. Aside from geometry, math is not a strength of mine.

@dbucklin I remember having to carry this silly book with me for 1 yr in high school bec we also had to learn how to use it and not to rely solely on scientific calculators. Ask me now I have no idea where to start on that book πŸ˜‚πŸ’¦ maybe I will try relearning it as a challenge and check in with our own army to see if they r still using it then join them! LOL

@dbucklin Eeeek! <screaming like a girl> I LOVE hp calculators! Congratulations!

@xmanmonk Thanks! I'm looking forward to using it.

@xmanmonk Which other HPs do you/did you have? Have you seen the Swissmicros versions?

@dbucklin I had a 71 (rather rare) and several 41s (everyone in engineering school had those), and also a 28.
