Had a wonderful sushi dinner with my sons in spite of overdoing it with the sushi. Also managed to fix my glasses with an older pair of the same frames I've been using that are now in bad shape. On top of that, thinking it might be time to hedge my bets and set up some alts, but I'll have to sleep on it and decide tomorrow.

So, I still see the numbers continue to drop even though I've added folks. Thus, I might have to consider a different instance, even if just as an alt. I've already backed up my follow list and everything else just in case.

An update on the SDF Mastodon Following/Followers count drop.

After speaking with @cosullivan, it seems like it's mostly everyone on the SDF instance and the pattern seems to be private accounts on other servers & accounts on servers running older versions of Mastodon (not sure about Pleroma, Misskey, etc.).

The issue persists, but I'm re-following everyone I've lost as quickly as I can and as I'm aware of the disconnect. Definitely not done on purpose by me, but apologies anyway in advance. 🙏
