We're moving towards a world where we will need to constantly "scan" for listening or tracking devices in our surroundings. Is this the future we wanted? Worth a thought.

@cfenollosa So if I do not scan for these devices, then what happens? What would the bad effect be?

@capngloval What I mean is that tracking devices have become mainstream.

Therefore, they are no longer "spy gadgets". You can be spied on by mistake (if somebody leaves one at your house) or on purpose, but the person may plausibly deny it ("I left it by mistake")

Therefore, in some environments, we will soon need to get used to scan for those devices (on top of "please shut down your cellphone") before sensitive activities.
