Can anyone recommend a good GUI library for #Python?

The one thing with Qt tho is that it's not a FLOSS project and there are some licencing shenanigans w/ KDE (AFAIU Qt co. wants to keep stable releases closed source) so if you go Qt you might want to make sure you research and understand the situation.

I'm using (guess the "official"?) PyGObject GTK bindings for a tiny little app and it's yet to get in my way (github.com/cadadr/pomodorino).

This is old FUD. Qt is multi-licensed under GPL, LGPL and a proprietary license. One can chose the one suiting.

I think there was a licensing issue at one time, back when the project owner was called Trolltech, but it looks like that has all been fixed now.

@woozle @kirschwipfel @amandag They had some recent troubles with the KDE foundation regarding (AFAIU) stable releases: mail.kde.org/pipermail/kde-com IDK how this affects non-KDE users but FWIW...
