I experienced VDSL internet for the first time when I was in Wyoming. I only had used ADSL and I was impressed that the speed was decent.
Living in California all of my life, after cable internet became a thing, almost all the ISPs switched. That's probably because how saturated the cable TV market was years before.
Wyoming's VDSL vs Spectrum's cable. Nearly identical speeds. Really.
Reminder: Spectrum is kinda crap.
@art we've had VDSL here for sometime now. While I'm waiting for fibre in my building, they sent me a VDSL +4G module to increase speed / for fallback
@art the only difference I can see really from what I had with fibre down the road and this only reflects on a speed test, otherwise I don't really notice
