Brilliant! England beat Australia by 8 wickets in 32.1 overs to go into the ICC Cricket World Cup Final. They will play New Zealand on Sunday at Lord’s. 🏏

Australia all out for 223 in the ICC Cricket World Cup semi-final against England. Some really outstanding bowling by England. I’m hopeful but, given the last couple of days of India v New Zealand, taking nothing for granted. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🏏

Just catching up on yesterday’s cricket results - so, amazingly, it’s England v Australia in a World Cup semi-final! My hope of an England v India final is still alive 🏏

Our final evening in Skiathos - meal at BU on the Bourtzi of Skiathos. Possibly the best grilled halloumi I’ve ever had!

Slighty disturbed that I’ve spent my pool and beach time this holiday lying on a One Direction towel.

England dispatch New Zealand to seal Cricket World Cup semi-final spot - England 305-8, New Zealand 186. Now I can relax about cricket until next week. Would love to see an England v India World Cup Final but have a feeling it won’t work out that way. 🏏

Interesting 🏏 stats:

Most wickets by an England bowler at a World Cup

JC Archer - 17 (2019)
IT Botham - 16 (1992)
A Flintoff - 14 (2007)
