@SDF I had one that looked a lot like the one on the right.

And I think my Genius mouse came bundled with Dr. Halo.

@SDF the one on the right reminds me of the Sun mice we had in college that while technically optical had to be placed on a grid surface.

@SDF rightmost one... a logitech C7 or a close copy. They issued a special clear version 25 years or so ago to celebrate selling their 100 millionth mouse. I had one, used the mouse but the docs and drivers are still sealed. It's around here somewhere.

Edit: in looking around I learned they had also done this in 1988 to celebrate their TWO millionth mouse; i never saw that one, which came in a cardboard box and a 5.25" driver disk

I bought mine around 1995 or 1996 and it was in a clear box
