I heard someone on NPR referencing "Biblical facts" after the Jerusalem announcement. Isn't that like citing CARTOON PHYSICS?

@Ricardus if one needs an adjective to qualify the word fact one should probably choose a different word.

@Ricardus Depends on the context, innit? Like Herodotus is a useful historical document despite talking about literal gods fighting in battles. From the Bible alone, we'd be moderately justified in believing there were Egyptians and Hittites in the same region and some people had iron chariots.

@Ricardus But there actually are Biblical facts. For example: The bible is a book. See, that's a fact. And... it ends just about there :)
