Protest fatigue... It's a thing. I'm pretty sure when Trump came into office it was part of the plan from the get-go. Do is many objectionable things as possible A) because they were assholes, and B) because then there simply won't be enough people or time to protest all of the things they're doing, and the protests will be completely ineffective. This will also be the GOP's modus operandi when they sweep the elections in November and in 2024.
