I think if I were a refugee, I'd start carrying the most dangerous weapon my state allows without a license. I'd go down fighting.

True. I'm kind of a fatalist. And isolate. If I died tomorrow, nobody would really care. My family wouldn't even know. I don't know when they die. Death is just an unanswered email.
Also, I'm autistic and already heavily traumatized. No way am I letting anyone put me in a cage.

If you're not too attached to your sacred cows, you might appreciate this. It's basically my masterpiece (in the old apprenticeship sense). I live at such a high stress level that the cortisol constantly makes my ears ring so I can't do anything long form, but I hit a lot of hard truths here. Anything unattributed is my observation.
