I'm saying it now:
#Signal should have moved to a EU country or to Switzerland when they had a chance to do so.
Now they'll likely have to fight for its survival in a chilling political climate.
Serious question: What's stopping them from moving now?

@Impish4249 They should have moved as late as last year to be honest.
There's a reason why I still can't take Signal seriously when it comes to privacy.
Again, serious question with no intent at argument, just trying to understand:
* what's to stop them moving now? The "why" makes perfect sense to me, all of my email providers are in the EU.
* What have you chosen instead of Signal? For instance I also use Threema for contacts who prefer that.
We'll all make our own choices, I like to hear other folks opinions.
