Fun fact: the earliest museum curator we know about was a woman, Princess Ennigaldi of Ur, whose museum catalogued artifacts from earlier Babylonian and surrounding cultures. Her father, King Nabonidus, was the first known archaeologist.
Ennigaldi, who lived in the mid-6th century BCE, meticulously labeled each item in her museum - in three languages! - and took great care to preserve them; some of her collection dated back at least 1500 years.

@axolotl that's what gets me.
people are confusing shitposting en masse, as a form of culture jamming. with "we made that".
a lot of shitposting as a practice and social pattern came out of really toxic (and right wing) corners of the internet. being acculturated to that, or having grown up around it without realizing that it was a vector for fascism and adjacent ideologies, is a *huge* honeypot/sinkhole that can be manipulated by abusers.

I sometimes have a bit of a tremor in my hand, and sometimes feel a kind of 'disconnect' between my hand and brain while I'm drawing - slowing down helps combat both. In the immortal words of Simon & Garfunkel - 'Slow down, you move too fast; you gotta make the moment last!' 😁 Pretty happy with these lines so far. #MastoArt
